The voLANte solution includes control and management options from the Conductor family of products. Conductor provides intuitive and powerful management of equipment configuration, content management, DVR recording and playback, bandwidth utilization, and matrix switching of video, audio, and control signals.

Extensive video networks can be constructed using voLANte's plug-and-play capabilities. However, the following tasks can be accomplished only through Conductor:

• Multi-user web-based virtual matrix switching and routing
• Manage multiple video streams on a single Ethernet connection
• Upload LocalPlay, HostPlay, and EMCast locally-stored content
• Immediately display emergency or otherwise timely information on all displays via EMCast™ vicinity alert
• View a graphical presentation of video network connections
• Turn video or audio on and off
• Switch any display from one video stream to another
• Switch between live video stream and locally-stored LocalPlay, HostPlay, or EMCast content
• Adjust variable bit-rate for each video stream
• Assign fixed IP addresses for each voLANte component
• Record and playback from VDR106R or VDR110 Digital Video Recorder
• Schedule tasks to be performed over the video network
• Address remote devices through the bi-directional RS232 control interface
• Provide LAN diagnostics

Conductor management products are available in four forms:

Conductor NetLite is included with voLANTe receiver and transmitter products. Conductor NetLite installs on a host PC running Windows XP/Vista/7, or Mac OSX running VirtualPC. It provides a single local user control of a voLANte network.

Conductor Server adds enhanced capabilities over NetLite. Conductor Server installs in a virtual machine environment which allows the program to be platform independent and run under Windows XP/Vista/7, Linux, and Mac OS X operating systems. Multiple users can access the system from any location through a web based interface.

Conductor DiVAS is a dedicated hardware implementation of the Conductor management system. Housed in a 2RU rack mountable unit, the DiVAS controller provides all the functionality of Conductor Server plus supports telnet and serial port control, email notifications, and an unlimited number of users through its web based interface.
