Schematic example of how a designer might include voLANte in a project

This layout shows how voLANte can be used in a sports bar application. This diagram depicts a portion of the voLANte installation at Real Sports Bar & Grill in Toronto, ON, the #1 sports bar in North America, as voted by ESPN. The voLANte solution was implemented with 10 six-input transmitters and 200 receivers connected to three managed network switches with the entire system occupying 13 rack unit spaces at the head-end. A single CAT5e cable runs from the switch to each bank of displays, where the receivers are daisy-chained while retaining full matrix switching capabilities. A 58x194 AV matrix switches content to displays ranging from 30" LCD's to large format projectors throwing a 39-foot image.

The combination of voLANte’s VMT105 encoder and the Panasonic AW-HE50H PTZ camera provides for the distribution / switching of video, audio and control from multiple cameras to mulitple displays over a local area network. By utilizing the same network for all functions installation and configuration is greatly simplified without sacrificing video quality. In addition, voLANte’s extremely low latency (50ms) permits precise real time PTZ control and viewing from a central PC station. The voLANte VDR106R also provides for high-quality recording & playback from two cameras simultaneously.
